Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 19th, 2026 | Version: 2026-07-19-en

Memphre Labs LLC, doing business as Entouri, operates Entouri, a private recommendations service. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, where it comes from, how we use and disclose it, where it is processed, how long we keep it and the choices and rights available to you.

1. Scope and summary

This Policy applies to the Service and related support and beta communications. We collect the information reasonably necessary to operate the Service, including account information, ratings, notes, relationships, preferences and technical information. We do not sell personal information, disclose it to data brokers or use it for third-party behavioural or targeted advertising.

2. Privacy Officer

Our Privacy Officer oversees our privacy program, responds to requests and complaints and participates in privacy impact and incident assessments.

Privacy Officer: Chris Dawson, CEO
Email: Privacy@Entouri.com

3. Information we collect

Account information: your full name, your chosen display name, email address, login and authentication records, selected language, country and province or state of residence, and profile information you choose to provide. Other registered users see your display name; your full name and email address are used to let people find and follow you by full name or exact email address, and are not displayed to other users.

Ratings and activity: ratings, verdicts, notes, tags, lists, searches, filters, saved items, preferences, pinned people, follows, pods, and similar actions.

Relationship and visibility information: who invited you, whom you follow, follow settings by content type or genre, who follows you within our systems, pod memberships, and the product rules that determine which registered users can see ratings, notes and profile information.

Invitation-link information: the inviter’s user ID, a secure invitation token, creation and expiration dates, revocation status and whether the link was used. During beta, we do not collect the recipient’s email address or send the invitation ourselves before the recipient creates an account.

Personalization choices and derived information: whether you activated personalized recommendations and, if activated, recommendation scores, preference profiles, inferred interests, similarity measures and ranking predictions.

Feedback and support: bug reports, support requests, survey responses and correspondence.

Technical and usage information: IP address, device and browser type, operating system, timestamps, authentication events, error logs, pages or screens viewed, feature use and security events.

Cookies and local storage: essential technologies used to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember language and preferences and protect the Service. During beta, we do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

4. Information we do not intentionally collect

During beta, we do not intentionally collect address-book contacts, precise geolocation, birthdates, government identification numbers, financial account information, health information, biometric information, private messages unrelated to the Service or data-broker information. Do not submit sensitive information in notes or feedback. During beta, we do not automatically obtain your viewing, reading or listening history from streaming services, reading platforms or your devices. The Service records the searches, saved items, ratings, verdicts, notes and feature activity described in this Policy.

5. Sources of information

We collect information directly from you; automatically from your device and use of the Service; from other users when they invite, follow, share with or interact with you; and from service providers that help us operate, secure and support the Service.

6. Recommendations, profiling and automated processing

Personalized recommendation functions are off by default. If you activate them, we use ratings, saved items, follows, searches, activity and preferences to create recommendation scores, preference profiles, inferred interests, similarity measures and ranking predictions. This is profiling because it analyzes personal preferences, interests and behaviour.

The activation screen explains the information used and provides a positive choice. You may turn personalization off again at any time in Settings. When you turn it off, we stop using your past activity to create personalized rankings and delete or reset any stored derived preference profile, while keeping your ordinary account information, ratings, notes, saved items and follows.

Personalized recommendations are used only for entertainment and discovery. They do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. You may contact Privacy@Entouri.com to ask questions about the principal information and logic used for your recommendations.

7. How we use information

We use personal information to create and manage accounts; authenticate users; provide ratings, follows, pods, lists, filters and search; display ratings and recommendations according to follow settings and pod membership; generate personalized rankings only when activated; send transactional, security and beta communications; respond to support and privacy requests; maintain basic service and security logs; debug errors; prevent abuse, fraud and security incidents; enforce our Terms; comply with law; and complete a merger, financing, reorganization or sale subject to appropriate protections.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand and improve the Service, provided that we take reasonable measures to reduce re-identification risk.

8. Who can see your activity

Your display name, profile image, biography and other profile information may be visible to other registered users. Other registered users see your display name, not your full name or email address. Profiles and User Content are not intended to be visible to logged-out visitors.

Any registered user may search for you by full name or exact email address and may choose to follow you, including people you do not personally know, without your approval. We do not currently tell you who follows you, and following relationships are not displayed to other users. Our systems nevertheless maintain those relationships so the Service can provide ratings and recommendations. If another user searches your exact email address, the Service may confirm that an account exists and return your display name, but it does not display your email address.

Your ratings, verdicts and notes may be visible to registered users who follow you for the relevant content type or genre, and to members of a pod where the content appears. Pod members can see the membership and activity of that pod. You should not use the Service if you are uncomfortable with this following model.

Other users may save, screenshot or disclose information they can see. We cannot retrieve copies outside our systems.

9. How we disclose information

Service providers: vendors that provide application hosting and deployment, database, authentication and storage, transactional email, error and security logging, support, and movie and television metadata. They may process information only to provide services to us, subject to contracts and safeguards.

Other registered users: according to the Service’s follow rules, content-type and genre settings, and pod membership described in Section 8. You do not approve each follower individually.

Legal and safety: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, or enforce agreements.

Business transaction: in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality and appropriate use restrictions.

We do not sell personal information, disclose it to data brokers or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

10. Current service-provider categories and locations

The beta uses service providers for application hosting and deployment, database, authentication and storage, transactional email, error and security logging, and movie and television metadata. We maintain the current provider names, processing locations, retention terms and contractual safeguards in an internal vendor record and will provide additional information on request where required by law.

During beta, we do not use optional advertising analytics and do not send identifiable User Content to a third-party general-purpose AI model.

11. Cross-border processing

The Company is based in the United States. Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States, Canada and other countries where our service providers operate. Information processed outside your province or country is subject to the laws of that jurisdiction and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement or government authorities in accordance with applicable law.

We remain accountable for information transferred to service providers for processing. We use contractual and other measures designed to require appropriate protection. Before entrusting personal information to a new service provider, we review what the provider receives, where it is processed and what its terms commit it to, and we record that review internally.

12. Consent and choices

The collection and uses necessary to create an account, provide ratings and follows, operate pods, maintain security and fulfill your requests are described when information is collected and in this Policy.

Personalized recommendations are optional and require a separate positive choice. You may withdraw that choice at any time through the Settings toggle. Turning personalization off may make recommendations less tailored but does not prevent you from using the other beta features.

You may update account information, delete ratings or notes where the feature permits, unsubscribe from non-essential emails if introduced, request access or correction, and delete your account. Contact Privacy@Entouri.com for privacy requests or complaints.

13. Retention and deletion

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including providing the Service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements and meeting legal obligations.

When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify personal information from active systems without unreasonable delay, subject to technical processing time and any information we must reasonably retain for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, enforcement or documenting the request.

Residual copies may remain in isolated backups until overwritten through the ordinary backup cycle. Backup information is not used for ordinary business purposes and, if restored for disaster recovery, will again be subject to the deletion request. Aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you may be retained.

14. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access to personal information we hold about you; information about its use and disclosure; correction of inaccurate or incomplete information; deletion; withdrawal of consent; or a portable copy of computerized information collected from you in a structured, commonly used format. Some jurisdictions provide additional rights, and we will honour any that apply to you.

Submit requests to Privacy@Entouri.com. We may verify your identity before responding. For users in Canada, we will respond to an access or correction request no later than 30 days after receiving it. Other requests will be handled within the period required by applicable law. If we refuse a request, we will explain the refusal and available complaint or review avenues where required.

You may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another applicable regulator. We encourage you to contact our Privacy Officer first so we can try to resolve the concern.

15. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections, managed authentication, role-based access, database row-level security, logging, access review, backups and vendor controls where appropriate. No online service is completely secure. Use a unique password and do not submit sensitive information.

16. Confidentiality incidents and breaches

We maintain an incident-response process and a register of confidentiality incidents. If an incident creates a risk of serious injury or a real risk of significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and applicable regulators as required by law. We may also contact others who can help reduce the risk.

17. Adults only

The Service is for users 18 and older. We do not permit users under 18 and do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact Privacy@Entouri.com. We may close the account and delete associated information.

18. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers offer Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Because we do not sell or share personal information for targeted or cross-context behavioural advertising, these signals do not change our current practices. If our practices change, we will update this Policy and applicable controls.

19. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. We will post the updated version and effective date. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice by email, in-app notice or another appropriate method and obtain additional consent where required.
